Working with the lens of understanding that our (musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, nervous) systems are in constant communication and need for balance with one another, we can address the body as one whole intergraded structure. Forming the foundations of safe, sustainable, and progressive strength training programs.

Nat Wheeler

Founder and owner of Seattle Movement Project, Nat Wheeler is a certified personal trainer who has worked one-on-one with 500+ clients across 16 years. Nat approaches movement and wellness with a comprehensive lens - integrating injury prevention, strength and conditioning, balance, flexibility, mobility, and cardiovascular endurance into programs tailored to each client. Nat brings a versatile skill set that supports a diverse client population, ranging in age (13-90) and varying experiences - including post-surgery recovery, cancer and treatment, living with neurodegenerative diseases, and specialized sports and performance. Whether you are new to movement, training for a marathon, or seeking ways to build strength and confidence, Nat creates a safe environment and invites courage and playfulness in every session.

Nat is a former collegiate soccer player, and continues to get out on the field when given the chance. As a regular in the weightroom for 20 years, Nat’s foundational training stems from competitive bodybuilding styles, and has since expanded and remains deeply rooted in many approaches to functional strength performance. Nat is a lifelong learner who leads with passion and curiosity - values that shape Nat’s care and commitment in guiding each client’s movement journey.
